The hotel offers very spacious and well-furnished rooms with 2 double beds and a large bathroom with complimentary toiletries at an additional cost of £35 on top of the standard tariff. The rooms had no fridge or minibar, but they were great and well-maintained. The TV system was not easy to use.

However, the additional cost of £35 on top of the standard tariff was a bit of a downside. The lack of a fridge or minibar was noticeable, and the TV system was a bit tricky to navigate.

The staff was very helpful and resolved any issues quickly and efficiently. They even offered us a free breakfast, which was a lovely gesture. The easy parking was also a plus.

The hotel's location is a bit odd, situated in a retail park next to the Metro Centre and Ikea. While it's very close to the Metrocentre Shopping Centre, it's a little out of town. However, being literally a stone's throw from the Metro Centre makes it ideal for a shopping weekend.

The dining experience was fantastic with a wide range of options and freshly cooked food. Both the meals and the service, including breakfast, were delightful. However, some items like the thick fatty bacon and dry hash browns were not to my liking.

The hotel is situated just off the A1, making it very convenient for exploring the Metrocenter mall in Gateshead. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, equipped with air conditioning, a fridge, and tea and coffee facilities. The service was exceptionally friendly and helpful, although quite persistent with the breakfast package. The location is excellent for shopping at the nearby Metrocentre, despite the view being primarily of shops. Overall, a valuable stay with a few minor issues.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean, but the excessive heat made it hard to sleep comfortably. On the bright side, the rooms were always immaculate and had essential amenities like tea/coffee facilities, an iron, a large TV, and windows that could be opened for fresh air.
